Zehavit is a ceramic artist living and working on the picturesque Otago peninsula,
her ceramic forms are mostly made from
South Island clays , decorated with lush glazes ,
some of the vessels are finished with a Japanese method called Raku ,
where the vessels are pulled out of the kiln at over a 1000 degrees
to create intriguing glaze finish.

Zehavit has a passion for sharing her practice with the community , installing large ceramic
shiws with the local school and running workshops from her home studio.
